“Your Security Is Crap”, to write this over US Military’s website takes guts. Gary McKinnon, a Scottish hacker came up with a stunt which till today is claimed as the “biggest military hack of all time”.
Accused of hacking over 97 military’s and NASA’s systems, Gary managed to knock it over to the top spot in the FBI’s most wanted list. February 2001 to March 2002 was the exact time period it took for him to get into their systems. Sitting on a Laptop at his girlfriend’s aunt’s home, the havoc he created is priceless, but an estimate of 700,000 USD was spent to recover from the mess he created. All these are just alleged and the protection provided to him by the UK protected Gary from any further mis-happenings. His response for this large hack was quiet simple, he claimed to look for free energy suppression and for some cover up story about the “famous UFO”. Though he admitted leaving a message on one of the screens stating,
"US foreign policy is akin to Government-sponsored terrorism these days … It was not a mistake that there was a huge security stand down on September 11 last year … I am SOLO. I will continue to disrupt at the highest levels … "
