Chinese Tech giant Xiaomi is proposed to launch its first laptop in china and could be expected in the first or second half of 2016. Xiaomi`s first laptop will come in 12.5 inch, 13.3 inch and 15.6 -inch models.

The 15.6- inch laptop will run an old processor with an objective to keep its Costs down.

Xiaomi will settle for intel`s Haswell core i7 rather than a more up to date skylake processor. The laptop might likewise have an older NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760M graphics chip, a 1080 Display, 5GB of RAM and Linux.

The cost aspect of this laptop is roughly under $464.

Obviously, there are a lot of Chromebooks and Windows laptops that are already available for even  lesser prices than mentioned above.

If Xiaomi follows their framed pricing strategy, it is the Lenovo, who gets affected the most being the largest PC and notebook manufacturer in the world.

The VAIO Z Canvas, on the other hand is a cheaper version that is a lot lighter, and has a keyboard that is detachable. The VAIO Z itself comes in two avatars, each featuring a 13.3-inch display, and powered by either an Intel i7 or an i5 processor. It has a strong aluminum carbon shell body, and the system can boot itself in 0.3 seconds flat. When you are constrained for working space you can simply twist the display to face downwards, and convert the laptop into a tablet. Although Sony prefers to call its flagship product a “monster PC” it does not draw that much power as one would imagine.

The machine can go on and on for close to 15.5 hours on a single charge, is what the company 

claims. This is by far the longest time for any VAIO, and is a feat indeed. The Z Canvas too is a “monster tablet” that is powered by an i7 processor, and features a 256-GB SSD with up to 16GB onboard memory. The Z Canvas too can transform itself, as it comes with a keyboard that is detachable. While the VAIO laptops went on sale after Sony sold the brand to Japan Industrial Partners in 2013, the other devices VAIO Fit and VAIO Pro were all created while the brand was still in the procession of Sony.
