Lynda McCance previously made a heartwarming appeal to the public when her daughter’s room was ransacked. The most disturbing part of this ransack was the fact that her daughter passed away due to a rare degenerative illness just days before the theft. The plea which she made was not for the entire things that was stolen but for just the laptop that had every pictures of the little kid Chloe McCance, from the birth to the last day she lived. A laptop full of memories that served to her as a remembrance of her little daughter is what the laptop signified.

After an appealing video that brought many to tears, the laptop returned. It actually returned to the mom. Since the video stated that the person who returns it will not face anything legally, the mother has hidden the story on how the laptop came back. I wonder if she did see the thief that did this and if she ever claimed the rest of the goodies that was stolen. This act actually proves the statement that “If you believe in wanting something with your whole heart, there isn’t anything stopping you from getting it.” A true heartwarming tale indeed, for the digital world!!!

Coming here to the safety of laptops: Laptops get stolen every day and many aren’t as lucky as Lynda McCance. A stolen laptop is a fortune for the one who actually commits this crime. Not just because of the monetary benefit he attains from it, but also because that he get inside the life of a human being. As laptops are what actually acts as your brain, everything you feel the necessity to be stored is in there. This makes you more vulnerable. As the story of Chloe goes, she lived a short life, but everything her parents cherished are on the laptop more than what they could remember. In fact the laptop acts as a brain that supplements the memories of the human being.

In cases of business, it’s not just the past that is lost but the future. Every business ideas and deals or anything that could make you a millionaire in the future is what matters the most. And when this goes out of your hands the loss in terms of monetary benefits is overwhelming. Above all the mental distractions and issues are much more critical than a human actually thinks it can cause.

Living in a digital era means that the safety of your gadgets that builds your life is the most important asset of all. To Lynda McCance, her laptop was more important to her than the memories she had of her daughter. Believing it to be the world’s most sentimental laptop is surely the right thing.
And in case you do want to throw away your laptop, make sure that all things in it is deleted and definitely make sure that the laptop is recycled. It protects both, your personals and the earth. That’s when sellalaptop.com comes in.

The embedding of artificial intelligence (AI) into the gadget’s world has made a remarkable revolution in technology arena, where it’s seemingly increasing its popularity day by day. In recent times, the top notch talk is about, which is better? Apple’s Siri, Google’s Google Now or Windows Phone’s Cortana?  There are many nit-picks to deal with all the three.

Siri:
Apple’s Siri is completely voice assistant available to the iPhone users ever since the release of iPhone 4s. it gives the users the ease to ask immense no of queries, set up appointments and events, enabled to interact with digital diva named sassy, giving her a nick name and a lot more.

Cortona:
Microsoft’s Cortona is all voice assisted by an actress Jen Taylor. This is available to all the users with windows 8.1 version. Incidentally, at times you‘ll about to encounter computer generated voice messages, which is more likely to be less exciting.

Google Now:
Google Now is always known for its quick access and effortlessness. You can simply enable the voice commands by saying “ok, Google” and then start with your command. Unlike Siri and Cortana, Google Now will suggest you with the extra personal recommendations related to your search queries.

A real-time testing:
The users witnessed a lot of distinct variations in all the three, while the practical application. On a real-time study by one consulting company named Stone Temple correlated a study to determine, which stands out among all the three and tech best.

All the three, Google’s Now, Cortana and Siri were fed with about 3000 voice queries  separately right from the most complex to the simplest questions in the world, say for example” what is the tallest mountain the world?” . The end result was incredible, where Google Now topped the three having answered 88% of the queries completely. Whereas, Siri was set back to 2nd position with 53% positive rate and last stood the Microsoft’s Cortana with 40% response rate.

All the three have the ability to perform both simpler and complex tasks. But each of it would exhibit them in their own unique way.

Siri from Apple has ability to integrate with the third party applications. For instance, it connects to OpenTable to book dinner reservations on the fly and Fandango to assist you to buy movie tickets. This is one striking feature of it.

However, Google Now tops the voice activation game, it recommends and anticipates you with more information relevant to your search queries before you could ask. The new kid lined up in the series is the Cortana, has a promising start, but still got lot more to bug up. Eventually, when it comes to answering and responding the questions quickly and more precisely, many say Siri tops the market. Despite all these tech war, it would always pave way for a good start for both the technology and the users.

E-waste, this is something a seemingly increasing problem faced by most of us today. Invariably it directly strikes a country or a society and its economical values. But before getting deep down inside, lets us understand what e-waste, its source, its growth rate, its global impacts etc.

The phenomenon of e-waste can be defined as the term that encloses all types of electrical and electronic gadgets/equipment that has been or could be scraped or put into no more use state. It covers up right from TV’s, computers, mobile phones, white goods, house hold things and business uses like electrical components.

On top of all the other gadgets, computers accounts for major e-waste scraps world-wide. The intense reason behind it is due to ‘digital revolution’ or in the other words ‘technological dive’. The rapid increase and innovation in the ITC (information and communication technology) has paved for rapid replace from analog to digital technology in fast pace. This eventually lead to low priced goods that gradually increased the demand for gadgets globally, invariably ending up in E-waste.

Although it’s a difficult task to statistically abridge the actual amount of e-waste being disposed. Few are being ethically re-cycled; few are left out as scraps and lot more are being used along with the newest products illegally. This is a long run process and often complicated to track its chain of events yet, we are on our way to resolve this e-waste problem by engaging ourselves with the various stakeholders and relevant scientific insight.
